Greetings, time travellers!
I'm Jannes de Goochelaar - Jannes the Magician, in English. I'm a Dutch historical magician. For over twenty years, I've been bringing the magic of the past to life through performances, historical characters and educational presentations.
Based in the Netherlands, I perform at historical events, museums, schools, festivals and special occasions. My aim is to bring history to life in an entertaining way for young and old.
But performing is only part of the story. I also enjoy sharing what I've discovered with fellow magicians, historians and anyone curious about the history of magic.
So whether you're looking for medieval or Roman magic for your event or simply wondering how magicians have been getting away with it for centuries, you're in the right place.
